Hi guys

Anyone knows Lumiere? from "Beauty and the Beast"? this one?

Thought it would be fun to model him - well, it's harder than i expected.
I already have an idea how the final image will look like - but till then its still a long way.
Hopefully i have enough energy to continue this project cause i'm the kind of guy who
tends to not finish a project.

Anyway, here is the first WIP:

lol, not to be rude but he looks so evil!! (kinda reminds me of bart simpson)

that´s interesting, especially to pick a cartoon character. i am looking forward to seeing the model in progress.
at the moment he seems to look quite angry

Why did you choose such an evil face?
It looks good, but I'd give him either a happy or a sad/worried face, just like in the image...
Will you make some more Beauty+Beast-Renders?

for good-looking flames i need texture-able emitters (nick said he probably will look into that )

maybe, maybe i model the fat clock too.

First SSS - Testrenders:

First one is rendered with ior=1 (30min), and second with ior=1.5 (7h)
dont know why it's that dark
