Hi.
First interesant render of my life

.
The dream is damaged (personal faults). With this, the crazy "wicked" side stop.
Thanks for this emotionant (undeserved) weeks lived.
Thanks to Enslaver, Pixie and Neo0 (all unforgetable).
Maybe more over and in other way ...
Excuses once again.
PD: (all bad setup !! A.D. works fine once reconstructed (?????)). No premeditation.
Edit: try to "catch" this more over.

Hi. I will take this old "by mistake" created thread to put the clean production.
An abstract shot from the firsts plays with Xfrog (phylotaxis and classical branches). 500 samples/pixel.

Thank you too much.
This thread was opened by mistake and remains void a lot of time. Seems that in december of the year 2012 the amount of stress, personal deceptions and frustration leads me to leave a desperate good bye to this forum that I don´t announce because I did an edition of the first content.
But the next day I was posting again in the other thread (I can´t leave it...).
I remember to discuss what is happening whit this probet in the IRC... is like a glass of water inside water...
The thing is that there are two diamond materials whit different precedence. Is the same material, but the precedence form a "wall" from the innersphere and the light is difracted again. Was a very study position and a strategicall light was placed in the back of the left piece. Is the same prism twice.
The idea of put bodies indside bodies was a casual finding. Ever that you have two dispersive materials one inside the other some magic is described...
Thanks again to this forum, for the patient and all on!

Hi.
Earth simulation again. More polygons and more accurate displacements. The maps necessary to this scene are over the net and have 21K resolution (it is necessary to work they a bit). Three displacements in houdini:
The last is fundamental as you see.
9500 meters of high to the over displacement,
-12000 meters of high to the under displacement,
200 meters of high to the bed displacement.
And this is the simulation. Hope you like it.
At the moment the only thing that I´m not able to reproduce is the "clarity" of the zones near the coast (this zones are near the water surface...).
And finally a real photography of Earth. To see how it is going!!

Awesome ! Are Sun and Moon up to scale ? (e: tbh I don't think this is possible, is it now ?)

Hi CTZn.
The moon has the right dimension because from earth covers exactly the indigo´s sun.
At this point I want to transfer the solar spectrum to an indigo´s real tabulated emission.
In this way things will be completly free to play.
An external geometric sun runs a lot faster but the samples are not of the same quality as indigo´s sun.
Will see with the correct spectrum next time.
P.D. (CTZn you have a private message in the inbox).

That's pretty fantastic yonosoy, I underestimated 64bit systems of the top of my head.
Probably there are a number of optimizations possible, like using an hemisphere facing the Earth model for the Sun.
Got your PM, thank you !

Something I start time ago and is not finished. I have some problems with the UVs, sorry.
