Indigo 2.0.0 betas are available!

Hey everyone!
After lots of work and improvements, we have the first betas of the new GUI ready for you to download. It's been a long development process, but we are in a great position to keep updating and pushing out regular improvements to the new GUI.
For those interested - it is written in C++ with the Qt 4.5 library for the GUI.
This is also our early announcement to the beta users - that Indigo is going commercial. We will still have a free version which is fully featured, but limited to renders of 800 x 600 pixels and with a small 'indigo renderer watermark' in the lower right.
Commercial licenses for Indigo will cost 595€ for a full version, or 195€ for a node license. To say thanks to all the early adopters of Indigo, we are offering full version licences for 295€.
And - as a special offer for the beta group users - the first 100 people that choose to buy a Indigo Full Licence will get a lifetime of free upgrades. So that means you will get Indigo 3.0, 4.0 and so on - for no extra cost. If you are interested in buying this licence, you can access our store at:

We know it's a big step to take Indigo commercial - and we undertake to be a responsive and supportive company for our community. We think this is a great step for Indigo, because it gives us resources to hire more developers and focus on making Indigo as fast and realistic as it possibly can be. We will post more about the commercialization of Indigo on the site over the coming days.
