Features

Okay - it looks like pretty much everything works - just a day or so to show Ono that it all works then it'll be up for the beta group to play with.

Here's what works:

* Scene Open/Close
* Render / pause / stop
* Image save as...
* Tonemapping sliders, incl reinhard, camera and linear
* Layer lights adjustment

That's all the features for now - so slightly less than you can do in the existing windows gui - but if there aren't too many issues in stomping out bugs then I'll be keen to get your feedback on features that would be good in the gui.

Thanks for being so patient. Talk soon. :)

It will include a new Indigo engine? (e.g. 1.1.17)

Just a question... will there be a way to integrate the existing skindigo plugin for windows onto the osx indigo core or will you launch a specific version of skindigo for osx? (the question can also be asked for cindigo and blendigo).

Thanks

Hey Ben...

How about the choice of different Camera Response Functions for camera tonemapping?

There are some, I rendered a preview of them once: http://www.zom-b.de/indigo/crf/

atm in Indigo 1.1.16 if you choose a different crf, indigo swaps back to the default one as soon as you force a refresh via GUI.

Fused once separated the crf's from the main CAVE file, you can get them here!

Cool ZomB!
Never used CRF's; the examples are looking very nice.

It sure will - we're building against Onos newest source code. :)

@bmscmoreira

I'm going to take a look at skindigo today - it should work fine because it's written in ruby. The blender plugin works pretty much as-is on os x. I don't know about the cindigo plugin.

@zomB

The camera response functions look great! Do you know what license all those CRF .txt files are under - I'd like to include them into the executable.

Hey Ben,
The crf data was taken from here:
http://www1.cs.columbia.edu/CAVE/softwa ... b/dorf.php

afaik its the same source like for the one contributed with Indigo.
Maybe there are some more on the web... I actually don't know :/

Is the pause/resume quick and responsive? :)
