Here is a Windows 64 bit build of Violet.

Built and tested on Vista 64 bit.

The installer wants to install to \Program Files(x86)\* by default, but this is a 64bit build, just change the install dir - I couldn't figure out how to in VS2005 yet.

EDIT: despite the .zip name, this is actually 0.1.3 as far as I can tell. The About dialog will tell you that it's 64-bit (this is the only change to the available source that I made).

Thanks for your afford dougal... runs fine here on Vista 64 bit.
But I can't have the 32 bit & 64 bit version on my system installed at the same time, so comparing both speed vise isn't easy...

I've just run a test, and if anything it appears to be a little slower

average of 3 runs, diffraction limited bloom with all default settings on an 1280x720 IGI:

32bit - 2.756 sec
64bit - 3.122 sec
