Particles may be tricky but motion blur is "rather simple" from what i was told. since it implies mixing in the last frame you created to the current one and such.

Well that's pretty correct Borgleader.

If you think twice though, motion blur is almost in the box, I'm sure Ono thought about that already, but I wonder if the next release would integrate that:

Imagine you have a new option in the <model> tag; this tag stipulates that this model will feature multiple transforms. For each ray||iteration||cycle -> apply next transform. Along with the light layer thingie, that would make sense to me ;)

Now put a <mesh> + <model> into an include.
render up to 10 samples
move the object to next (sub)frame
export to a dummy scene
extract mesh + model
replace include content with
resume the scene.
repeat.

Particles... bah ! what for ?

Actually even if Indigo allows reloading of images to tonemap'em again without CPUs @ 100% all the way, Violet can be still an alternative and a coders playground. I believe that any polished soft has its users :)
