Well that's pretty correct Borgleader.
If you think twice though, motion blur is almost in the box, I'm sure Ono thought about that already, but I wonder if the next release would integrate that:
Imagine you have a new option in the <model> tag; this tag stipulates that this model will feature multiple transforms. For each ray||iteration||cycle -> apply next transform. Along with the light layer thingie, that would make sense to me

Now put a <mesh> + <model> into an include.
render up to 10 samples
move the object to next (sub)frame
export to a dummy scene
extract mesh + model
replace include content with
resume the scene.
repeat.
Particles... bah ! what for ?
Actually even if Indigo allows reloading of images to tonemap'em again without CPUs @ 100% all the way, Violet can be still an alternative and a coders playground. I believe that any polished soft has its users
