Hi!
I´m trying to get a nice glare effect with violet, but in all my tryings I get these squarish "things"
I just want the letters to "shine"

Download 1.0.4 and it renders the glare for you, without any mistakes and not in a post process... - as well as bloom ;)

Violet has some bugs and noone seems to either have the skills or the time or both to update it :?

To be honest: I did see that 1.0.4 can do this, but I don´t know how I can do this with 1.0.4

It does it automatically :D

the only thing you need to do (and it's done by default, I think) is to set camera_diffraction = true in the inifile :)
The new version of Blendigo should also have a switch for this :)

I´m trying, but it is not that easy. Not for reflected lightsources anyway.

SmartDen wrote, you might want to use a very high f-stop (64) to see the effect of non-circular lenses. - maybe, you need to use it too, do better see bloom and glare?

I did that.
That is my best result so far, but I lost the settings :?
