Carpaint and new activities

Post by galinette » Sat Dec 01, 2012 5:49 am

Dear Indigo users,

From now on, I am starting my own business focused on physical rendering solutions, and optical calculations for engineers.

Concerning Indigo, I will be offering the following services:
- On demand complex material development
- General courses & consulting on Indigo (English/French)
- Courses & consulting on advanced & physically based Indigo materials
- Commercial material packages & plugins

I'm working actually at a carpaint material which is quite advanced and complex (takes 3 wavelength dependant material parameters and 6 wavelength independant parameters... ouch!). It is based on physical parameters and modelling of the carpaint (with approximations, of course, for keeping a decent speed)

You can see a preview below:

That really sounds interesting, since we all know how nice your materials are!
Your ISL coding skill is advanced too, so I'm looking forward to see what you will come up with :)

As a side question, are there any plans to release any more Saint-Gobain materials?

I am not anymore linked to Saint-Gobain, but in case you need, I can give you some contacts

Oh well, seems to be some language thingy: In Germany you can describe something to be "Porno", mean something like awesome, extreme or extra cool!
No sexual reference here at all :)
