Dear all,

Time passes and I'm not as involved in Indigo than I was before. I'm actually starting a new project around light simulation and accurate object aspect prediction, basically an engineering ray-tracer (as opposed to CG, or artistic, renderers), for scientists and R&D who want to predict behavior of light. Project page for those interested : http://www.eclat-digital.com

For those interested, I'm still giving courses and trainings on physically based rendering, and on material design, of course including Indigo which stays my renderer of choice!

Cheers,

Etienne

I've always wondered when modern software technology would produce a tool with aim and abilities of Radiance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiance_(software). I still have the original book.
Of course Ocean is more like a supercharged version of Radiance on steroids!
Very interesting.
