TV screen
Re: TV screen
Just make the following material in sketchup:
- Material type : Phong
- IOR : something like 1.30, increase or decrease for more or less reflection
- Albedo : black
- Exponent : something like 500 to 50000, testing needs to be done. Some screens have a glossy-mirror reflection (very high exponent such as 50000), some have a rough finish (low exponent)
- Emitter layer : anything other than off
- Base : Blackbody 6500K, tune for cooler or warmer picture, as you would in your LCD OSD settings
- Emission scale : 250nit(cd/m²), tune for brighter or darker image
- Emission : the screenshot you want to display on the monitor. For simulating the non-perfect black of todays LCDs, I would suggest putting a small value in the texture parameter C(offset), such as 0.01
Please post the results if possible!
