Site keeps going down

Hi Nick/Benn, just to let you know that the website has been going down for a couple of hours every day, for at least the past 3 days (during the night New Zealand time.)
Here's what happened with it today (19 November)
14:55GMT:
Website interface went down.
14:57GMT-15:00GMT:
Minor responsiveness
15:00GMT-15:06GMT:
Virtually no response (pages take 2+ minutes each to load)
15:06GMT+
No response
Sometime around 21:00GMT:
Site is back up.

Yupp, noticed that too. I'm wondering if the material editor with its db connection
could be the culprit. Should be easy to spot in the server logs tho.

We've upgraded the server, hopefully that should help.
We'll try and monitor the server, but if the server goes down again, please post in this thread!.

I also was unable to connect for several hours Tuesday, Dec. 29 Alaska time.

yeah, it's been mostly inaccessible for me for the last couple of days.
