Hi, I suppose it's not just my browser; for some time now I am forced to select a whole post (the step next is the whole page !) if I want to retrieve a specific code or extract a specific quote.

Could the original behaviour be restored, please ?

While it might give a feeling of control from a distance, for users it's just a PITA. Quoting a full post is most of the time irrelevant (see how quoting was widely used in technical discussions), this limitation is subtly pumping the dynamic down imho

I hope this will be read by admins; if someone wants to support the idea... heh, let it know !

Hmm it may just be your browser.. I can select text as usual.. Have you tried in another browser or on another computer.?

I'm using IE for ever and had this issue just recently... I don't see how that could have been changed locally but maybe that's what happened... and, I don't have this issue on other forums ! I'd prefer not to install a second browser on my unique pc

Maybe in turn your browser is not aknowledging a change hstockolm I need more users input to make up my mind, thanks for yours !

that would be the background image of the post.... and yes, im guessing its because your using IE. I remember when i was running a site, and one day, all the IE browsers started having problems with the layout. Then a month later, it magically started working again for all the IE folks. Firfox and safari users never had a problem (chrome was not on the scene at the time).
