How to create a lightning?

As title, how can we create bolts of flashing lightning with Indigo RT?

Please help me.

You create the lightning bolt as geometry in your 3D modeling application and then apply an Indigo emitter material to it.


I am sure there may be other approaches to accomplish that task. If I remember correctly there is a plugin available for Blender that helps with creating the geometry for realistic looking lighting bolts.
