It does well in bidir. Late 2008 Mac Pro dual xenon 3.2Ghz (16GB Ram) and SSD. Sadly, with Open CL on, the 2012 Ivy Bridge i7 iMacs are faster by about 5%.

I opened rouleau_feuilles_hd.pigs just to see what it was and I'm really awestruck. Beautiful geometry and light. So if you don't mind, I'll let it cook (render) fully. It was warning me about IES lights again but it looks ok. Looks like I'm hovering around 2ssp per minute (bidir) so it should be quite good by the end of day.

Not sure when you need the render by, so here's a current render: https://app.box.com/s/d3t3ft9qn6y6ml37j3cw (only about 400ssp). I'll let it run and post the result at 8am EST tomorrow.

I agree with Voytech. Beautifully abstract art. It would be very interesting to know what it's used for!

Ok. Here's the final render https://app.box.com/s/d3t3ft9qn6y6ml37j3cw

Went up to 1800ssp or so. Forgot to look.
