Im afraid only math geeks are allowed to use ISL

I would love for their to be a simple method of using it - I'm still creating my own hand-crafted texture/bump maps in Photoshop.

I feel so ancient :(

At some point a bunch of "pre made" ISL shaders should find their way into the exporters, so that a user simply puts a FMB shader into the bump channel and has some values to tweak with feedback via viewport preview.
Just like in Cindigo, where we have already 3 such shaders. All the nasty ISL coding is done under the hood...

However, I'm seconding snorky.

A cross-categories section regrouping all materials making use of ISL shaders could be one more tool for ISL wanabees, instead of downloading the whole DB just to make sure that one won't miss a trick.

One major issue in learning is regrouping ressources, this would address that DB-wise. Then goes the copy and paste magic ;)
