material editor tutorial

It would be interesting and very useful to count on a material editor tutorial. I think this matter is the core issue of rendering. Any idea about the releasing of this tutorial?

Yes! The idea is very present. It'should be useful to know you modeling application, though..Cos (i think) the most users here in the forum doesn't know too much about command lines: they just work with the plugins, and each plugins has different ways to handle things such as light managing, material creation, and so on..

So: which plugin d'you use? I'm a SkIndigo user, and i could write a little simple tutorial..

Pubitz, you wrote this on 23 june 2008, I don't know if you finally did write the"little tutorial" about material edition, if so, please let me know where i can get it...
