Here is a working SkIndigo version I threw together that works with Indigo 2.0.4+ Remember that Indigo 2.0 and SkIndigo 2.0 are now in public BETA. This is only a test version to help facilitate Indigo 2.0 testing.
This version is not yet Mac compatible but I'm getting there....

I hoping that next release will be fully functional on Mac.
#Version 2.0.4
#Fixed: Material Import
#Fixed: Displacment maps no longer exported for blend materials
#Added: Set displacement error threshold to 0.0
#Changed: material previews now using indigo console
#Changed: some Mac version fixes, still not fully Mac compatible yet
#Changed: messed around with preview scenes
SkIndigo 2.0.4
Updated Preview Scenes
Getting Started Tutorial (WIP)
Advanced Features Tutorial (WIP)
Texturing Tutorial (WIP)
Enjoy!

@stinkie,
Can you get a scene to render using a simple SKP file without external textures? Or does the problems occur in every type of scene?

The texture thing happened only once - probably due to an oversight on my part. The export thing has happened with every scene so far. I can export via plugins > Skindigo, and open up the scene manually, though.
I'll have a look into this again tomorrow, if I can find the time - plenty of chores to do.

Could you try to render with the Ruby Console Window open and then post a screenshot of what it says? You aren't using the Mac version of Indigo are you?

No, I'm not. I'll do what you asked as soon as my kid takes a nap.

Good to hear! You'll be even happier when I fix the tons of bugs still present in the Mac version. Please don't judge SkIndigo OSX based on this version. It is far from finished.

er, this version doesn't work with 1.1.18

so I guess I can't take advantage of material imports with the free version...
