Skindigo not Running on Vista 64

I am running Vista 64 bit edition.

I have installed Indigo and Skindigo correctly but it will not work with sketchup. I can open Indigo separately and run an igs file from there, however if I try to render from sketchup nothing happens besides it saying that it exported X number of triangles in x number of seconds.

I've given Indigo the correct number of privileges and removed all restrictions from it, however I am still unable to get it to work.

Help please.

Thanks for your time.

Help please?????

I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar issue as it is continuing for me.

I hit the render with indigo button, it says its exporting all the triangles...then nothing, nadda, niet.

I also won't save a Igo (or whatever the file type is.) I've tried most of the versions of Skindigo and of Indigo, both the 32 and 64 bit.

Anybody? Please? I'm getting a bit desperate here.

open the Ruby Console window when you try to render and let me know if there are any error messages.

isnt this due to the security settings in vista? you should move your indigo installation directory out of the program files directory.

Ayup, that was it, moved it to my documents and it runs fine now. Thanks a bunch. I'll remember it for the future.

This a great example of why I regret getting Vista. It literally stops you from using your computer.

Ah, I didn't know that about Vista... I simply never install in that folder, it's so much of a mess from scratch... I'm using a custom 'c:\progs\' as root of any installation (just removing "ram File" from default install path). Lol. XP here, limited enough with 2GB already.
