I made a clipmap, but it won't work. Any suggestions?

Any error messages? Did it render? If so, post the image of the render. Your clip map looks fine from here but you need to provide more information.

Sorry about that. I was in a hurry.
Anyhow, here's the rendering. Both the native image and the clipmap image are JPEGs.
I also included a sample of the clipmap image in the plan.

I am interested and I register.

did you actually use the clip map as an alphamap in a blend of the original map - mat and a NULL mat?

Huh?

...
Any sketchup user out there, able to explain the progress?
I only can speak for blender...

I think images must be PNGs

pngs should be fine, as well as jpgs...
But be careful with your b/w clip map!
It needs to have three channels

(RGB) - Indigo doesn't like single-channelled maps.

I had thought about whether the clip should be a PNG. And heavens, it works!
BiDir MLT method
It's better with the Hybrid method. I figure if I let it bake a little longer the noise around the tree will clear up.
Thanks guys.

hi!
I've done some renders with cplipmap

I know the grass is not radnom enough, will have to figure that out. (is ther like a random scatter ruby script for sketchup?) It also seems to turn white at the far end (guess 12h render time was not enough).

I love the new features.

I don't know, if and how sketchup supports primitives, but Indigo has the feature to render perfect spheres, without any geometry, which could be highly useful in your render, there
Don't only get rid of the obvious order but also of the visible part of the plane beyond, in the lower right corner...
and also more behind, as you're using reflective stuff, which clearly shows what happens behind the camera

I don't know why but Skindigo v1.0.5 crashes when trying to use sphere primitive.

Ok, I see...
Never mind, then, until it's fixed

Wish I could use MoI3D in cooperation with SketchUp and Indigo, but it is NURBS
