whoa.. don't install plugins there. (inside sketchup.app via 'show package contents')
place the file skindigo.rb and the folder skindigo in the following location:
Macintosh HD/ Library/ Application Support/ Google SketchUp (n)/ SketchUp/ plugins
this is the standard location for all sketchup ruby plugins on mac.

oh!great!! thank you ,i have move on a little bit. I have a new problem now, while i was trying to render my model with indigo, there's a dialog box appear as below:
「In order to render with Indigo, you must download and install the Indigo Renderer application. If SkIndigo cannot locate the Indigo application you must manually locate it. 」.
i have tried to locate the file named indigo.app, but i cant find it in my indigo folder. Is there anyway i can solve this? or do i need to download some other files?

Yes !
You have successfully installed SkIndigo, but as every exporter it does "only" translate SketchUp scenes into Indigo ones.
Indigo Renderer must be downloaded separately. You will always find the latest Indigo version in the
Indigo News and Announcements forum, and currently the last stable version is
Indigo 2.6.1. You will find the Mac download down the first post.
Have fun !
PS: You must use matching versions for the exporter and the renderer, different versions may not always "speak the same language".

Hey I am having a similar problem. There doesn't appear to be a plugins folder whatsoever. Any thoughts...

Hey Cairo,
You're going through the "user folders". The files you're looking for are in the system library. Back out to the root directory of your harddrive and then look for the "library" folder. So it looks like this.
Harddrive-->Library-->Application Support-->GoogleSketchup8-->Sketchup-->Plugins
