Hello,

I am still quite new to Indigo and I would like to render a cut but it always shows the hidden part (the big wall!!!!)

Is there any way to avoid that excpet to make a special skp file in which I delete all the parts I don't want to see?

Thx in advance, last time the answer was very quick and worked perfect.

Nope, it is currently NOT possible.
This because your operation is something not reproduceable in the REAL world, and Indigo follows real world laws

Isn't there any sketchUp plugins to do a section slice? If you can get one that can do it, then Indigo can render it :]

depending on whaat's being sliced though, that can still lead to a lot of annoying cleanup..
i had this idea for a BoolTools revamp (now that 8 has solid booleans etc..)

bascially, you'd have a solid cube(or whatever) that you place over a bunch of geometry.. it would then intersect and everything inside the cube would be deleted automagically.. things wouldn't need to be solid etc in order for them to be interected/deleted..

just ideas..

[edit] or wait a minute  .. i think i'm thinking about zorro pt.1 which just slices.. zorro 2 has something to do with the section pane and deleting right? i'll just shut up now and go google some stuff.. :D
