Considering the overall purpose of this compo I give my primary vote to Sparlin and secondary vote to ritter (assuming of course anyone cares :P). Found it hard to pick between the two as they are so different. In the end Sparlin's just had more impact although I do think the indigo log should be there in full even in if colourised to keep the whole blue thing going.

My 2c :)

A more obvious logo can be easy achieved, just a case of modifying an image slightly.

And I think dmn's face is excellent, i'd love to do a displacement animation using the pins.

@josh haha, actually I've never seen that video. I've just had one of those things since high school. I always thought there was something really creepy about them. Reznor has some crazy video filters. He basically has a live version of that for his show, only instead of pins it's a series of transparent led curtains and he's carrying around a video camera. Or maybe it's prerendered...and he's video-syncing :P
anyway I have been playing with this pin screen for a while and want to figure out a way of animating it, maybe by rendering a depth map of the subject and then converting the gradient value to pin location.

I'd have to go with DMN's second image (as it seems to clear up faster)... absolutely amazing....

If we are about to vote, one might as well do a pool with all the options and images presented.
