Hello Yu Cen, I'm not developer, just single user like you. But I can tell right now that cartoon effects are not to be expected any soo, Indigo is only for realism as far as I know.
You may want to search for "Violet" in forum pages, it is a separate program wich applies effects to igi images generated by Indigo (be patient, some effects are slow to compute). It is in "Development" forum I think.
Bye !
edit: actually this forum (Competition) is not the place to post this topic, but that isn't a big problem

hello CTZn ,if developer can realize "color control" (3d color control), i think developer can realize cartoon effects(simple cartoon), because if useing object channel (id) can realize "3d color control" ,change render to finish image's object colors. realize simple 2d cartoon too.(likeness "photoshop filter")
violet is very nice too! but ,how to bring*.igi file ,indigo is no save igi.

Re: hello radiance,i have some idea for indigo!
I can defenitely see how these ideas shaped indigo.. Some of his/her others seem pretty neat too. What if we could control the spectral elements of indigo in real time.. Things you see in Vuze, like cloud density, cloud thicknes, etc. Maybe even setting the weather (for example, overcast.) There are probably other spectral elements of the atmosphere that I don't know about.. What about being able to see stars/the moon when you have sun/sky set to night time? What if Indigo could add things like the aurora borealis in your night sky?
