Camera Response Function fails

Post by TheGreatGig » Thu Oct 30, 2014 3:17 pm

Hi, I keep getting an error when trying to open scenes I've just exported from Maya. Error is as follows:

"Error: Failed to load camera response function from file "/Applications/Indigo Renderer/Indigo.app/Contents/MacOS/../Resources/data/camera_response_functions/.txt": Could not find file '/Applications/Indigo Renderer/Indigo.app/Contents/MacOS/../Resources/data/camera_response_functions/.txt'"

I'm running Indigo Renderer on Mac OS 10.10.

I saw something similar to this in the 3DSMax forum, but the solution was replacing their plugin with a new one someone provided, so that doesn't help. Hopefully someone knows what's going on. Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks!

Hi, could you please specify the exporter involved ? There's a catch.

Hi, sorry for the late answer TheGreatGig, I didn't acknowledge your answer till now.

The thing is, CTZn's MtI is not supported anymore, and in particular, I had never the chance to test it on a different OS than Windows. I am not sure about what is causing the error, sorry about that.

One dirty way to fix this would be to hand edit the IGS file as a text and correct the path stored in the tonemapping node.
