Ok I made a render using the editor camera in C4D, but now I want put in a camera object with the exact settings and position so I can set an Indigo camera tag ...

Is there anyway to replicate the exact position and settings in C4D?

If not, does anyone know the editor camera default settings like FOV etc?

creating a new camera should position the new camera on the exact same position and with the same settings of the editor camera.

to get to the settings of the editor camera do the following (when editor camera is selected):

° in the 3d view, click "edit" -> "configure"
° then, in the AM, click on the "view" tab
° doble cklicking the camera in the link field will display the editor cameras settings in the AM (if you have 11.5 you can edit the settings in place by expanding the camera settings with the small arrow on the left)

there is a free plugin called xsTargetCamera, wich will create a target cam out of your editor-cam. you just click and move the target along the z-axis and everything is fine :)

look here: http://www.xsyann.com/?p=70

hopefully this will help you
