I think that this is not possible,
and it doesn't make much sense to me due to Indigo's aim to achieve real world camera behaviour and physical correctness.

Maxwell achieve it, isn't maxwell physical correct?

It is good to have Compositing теги as in Cinema4D.
Let's admit for me this necessary to place an additional source of illumination and to make its invisible and are invisible in reflexion, for example, the mirror, without it тега it is a problem.
It is very difficult to be tuned a sky background, it is good that irrespective of illumination,
The father-in-law, magnifying light exposure, a sky background will not change and regulated to a separate tuning

Try n achieve an light thats invis to the bare eye but is emitting light in real life... can you manage it? No? So it's not physical correct obviously.

But why do you have to actually see the light? I mean, despite being everywhere you don't actually see it unless you use SSS. You can get physical correct light despite hiding the light emitter, as long the light itself is physical correct.

Now you make me think of it...

Interesting point, pixie!
In real world, you always "see" the light sources because they are situated in kind of materials which reflect it; like light bulbs etc... so you "see" the light source. As you said for example the sun; you only see her because a) of the atmosphere or dust particles in space (SSS or very small reflective surfaces) and b) because of her light emitting surface.
Pure light by itself is indeed invisible.
But I think that Indigo works with emitting surfaces, so they already "reflect" their own emitted light.
Hm.
