Hi all,
I'd like to create C4D file with indigo materials. I can import materials one by one from pigm. But it is quite time Consuming in case if importing many materials.
Is it possible to import more then one material in one step? Any idea?
Thanks for help.

Re: Import materials
Hey pavoda.
Well you can save your materials in the content browser after you import them so you will have them on hand when needed. ( but you still have to import them one-by-one. ) After, you will have them in content browser to use in your scenes.
Hope it helps.

Re: Import materials
Hi Originalplan,
Save to library materials is good, but this is not exactly what i need. My idea is create one C4D file with all indigo materials (about 1000 materials). I using function exchange materials in C4D. Every materials with same name are changed from another C4D file. This is useful for change VRay materials to Indigo materials in one step for example.
Import more than one material at a time would be appropriate.
If there is no other solution, I'll do it manually...But it could be the inspiration for improving Cindigo

Re: Import materials
Well there is no method of importing multiple materials that i know of.
BUT since you want to convert Vray to Indigo...if you can import 1000 Vray materials into Cinema than all you have to do is to select them all inside c4d and hit convert to Indigo Material.
After that delete the 1K Vray stuff...and save/optimise the new Indigo materials....and drop them in the content library.

Yep it could. Please make a post about this in the Cindigo thread as a REQ so it will be in the right place & timeBut it could be the inspiration for improving Cindigo

About convert materials...It is not possible convert vray materials directly to indigo neither convert indigo materials to vray or C4D.
