Cindigo Materials causing Cinema 4D Lockups

I have come across a few instances of Cinema 4D locking up completely when editing Indigo materials within the material editor. Here are a couple of easy to recreate examples:

Create a new Indigo Material, of type Specular. Go to the Internal Medium section, and change the type from Basic to Atmosphere.

Create a new Indigo Material, of type Diffuse. In the color channel, select an ISL Gradient in the Texture Map selector. Click on the gradient to edit it, and change it from 2D - U to 2D -V.

In both cases, you'll end up with Cinema 4D becoming unresponsive to the point of requiring a force quit.

This is on a Mac running 10.6.8, Cinema 4D R13, Latest version of CIndigo.

Seems to be a Mac only issue, no problems on a PC and R12 here...

I would like the option NOT to refresh or even render the material previews globally.
Do you think that is possible, fused?

And what should that be actually good for?
I would rather suggest to have a "default preview quality" setting in the C4D Preferences where you can set the target spp for preview rendering to "low" for example, or even a custom value... zero at spp would then be deactivated previews ;)

That should not be happening, will look into this issue soon.
