C4D plugin or Indigo

Post by Rich_Art » Sat Jul 21, 2012 12:36 am

Hi all,

Just a curious question.. Do you C4D guys render in C4D with Indigo or use the plugin to export the scene to Indigo for rendering?

Peace,
Rich_Art.

I use most of the time stand alone Indigo, since atm. the sdk version doesn't support LightLayer & Region rendering, also no realtime editing of materials... features that I use a lot during scene creation to define a final look.

**EDIT**
Seems the SDK version DOES support LightLayers... I simply missed to test

Thanks for the reply...

Light layers works indeed. Render region only in the viewport...

Real time material editing would be a nice option to have indeed...
I can't find my way in the Indigo stand alone... (yet) :D
