i got 3. so why the message? they just lights. i dont want a sun in the scene. at the moment im just trying it out. how to do it right?

Did you place an Indigo light tag on them? If not, Indigo won't recognize them.

Only with infinite lights from what I recall.

Hi india,

Indigo for Cinema 4D should recognise point lights (although I strongly recommend to not use them), area lights and spot lights, even if they don't have a light tag applied.

All other light types are ignored.

If your lights are of that type but it still doesn't recognise them, it sounds like a bug.

Can you provide a simplified c4d scene that shows the issue?

aha!.. yes it recognized the area and Spot.. i was testing Infinite and Omni :)
