Hi - I have been away from Indigo for nearly 2years - got an email yesterday regarding the new integration with C4D - installed the demo last night - bought it 3hrs later and still haven't slept  It's awesome. Well done to you all. I currently use Thea that comes with a lb4d file containing a really useful set of basic materials you can drag directly from the content browser - does such a thing exist for Indigo?

Great to hear that you are happy with the new release

atm there is no such Library, but you can import materials via the plugIn menu that you downloaded here:

Hey StuDIO, welcome to Indigo!
The integration is fantastic and makes more fun than ever.
Show us your renderings! :-)

Thanks for the replies - I know this is in the wrong area probably BUT how can you get rendering the sunlight and spot lights (or emitters) to work at the same time - one will work but never together for me at the moment

Hi StuDIO,

the sun is quite bright, so your other emitters are probably not bright enough.

If you are using C4D light sources, try adding a "Indigo Light Tag" and enable "Use Light Normalization".
Since the sun and sky are so bright you will probably want to use rather high values.

I have attached a simple example scene showing how it can be done.

I recommend using quite high values in light normalisation when combining Sun/Sky with other light sources to force Indigo to compute more samples there to avoid fireflies.

I always use 10 times higher values than it makes sense to the eye and push them down to normal brightness in the light layer tab during rendering.
