Re: Cindigo 2.6.1
Yeah, I meant exactly that ...
but I think it is difficult to determine the material preview when using layered materials?
In fact, complex materials could be administrated a lot easier with that solution.
Plus, the C4D material editor function "delete unused materials" would work correctly.
Another issue:
Axel still tries to export animations on the Mac ... i didn't try for myself.
Zom-B postet a script, but I didn't find it any more ... any news about that?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Cindigo 2.6.1
I think I can make that work. I read that there is some way to fix that on the maxon sdk forums.zeitmeister wrote:Plus, the C4D material editor function "delete unused materials" would work correctly.

I don't think it will work on OSX currently.
Axel called a few days ago and we talked about this, doing some work on animation support now (in general and R12 specific). I'll also try to get a R12 mac build out soon.
Re: Cindigo 2.6.1
Looks like animation support for R11.5 and R12 will improve a lot.
After a few tests it looks like animations won't have to be baked frame by frame any more when using tag, expresso, etc.

Working on the Mac build, will hopefully be done tonight.
I also did some nice stability improvements and added auto instancing, which should drastically improve animation export.
Cheers!
