Re: Indigo 2.0.11
It should not be that size... I even downsized it by 0.01 and yet the problem remained... :( got a blurry image though :DOnoSendai wrote:Pixie:
I investigated the bug you are referring to. It's a self-intersection issue.
I tested out a possible fix, to make the intersection a little more robust. Unfortunately, it slows down rendering speed by something like 3%-10%. So I'm not sure if it's a good idea to include, seeing as most scenes render fine.
I think you are seeing issues because your model is quite large - larger than it should be (if one unit = one metre) , and not near the origin of the scene.
I'm still investigating this issue, so any feedback or thoughts are welcome.

Light Layer value as master gain could be lower than 0.01, maybe 0.0001. IES files are ever high value and doesn't change before 0.01...
thx
Sorry for my poor english

@Jambert
I'd say that play with your camera and tonemapping settings. I've never used such low values for lights like you do.

Ono,
I am having issues installing the Linux x64 versions. I've installed on Centos 5.3 and Ubuntu 8.1 but each time seems to be missing librarys (QT and others). Is there a way to package the the files with the libraries?

In Ubuntu you can go to Synaptic Package Manager and find Qt 4.5 and install.I don't know how it works in CentOSdrkick16 wrote:Ono,

Just a nudge...monday has come and gone...still waiting for Mac release.
Re: Indigo 2.0.11
Nick has just created a 2.0.12 build, so I'm building that. It'll be available in the morning. The 64 bit build might be ready too. It's taking a while
Re: Indigo 2.0.11
I would kill for a 64bit build :)
