Can't initialize Indigo beta 2.0.6 for Mac. :-(
I can confirm the same problem here.
Can you guys please add 'indigo_console' for the next Mac build and make sure that it works to launch from the command line with optional parameters (IGS file, output file, etc.)? I really need this to get material previews working on the Mac.
Thanks.
Hi Ono, it's getting better and better, but I want to know about some shadows that appear in the render as I posted here http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... =27&t=5796, they appear in 2.06 aswell
Hi, I´m also getting strange "shadows".
It´s a very simple and clean scene - and they don´t appear, if rendered with indigo 1.1.16

I don't get it, all my scenes were rendered ok with previous versions of Indigo, no scale or geometry issues before, I'm trying the new versions of Indigo with my old scenes and the new scenes are rendered with 1.1.18. I had to melt triangles in one mesh and subdivide other to correct it to work with 2.06, so I don't think the problem is in the scenes.
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.0.6
well scale issues...
you are right, that I get rid of the shadows, if I scale down the scene. But then my drawing units are not 1m anymore, but 10m (or even 100m). And it´ll get messy, when adding lights.
I also could divide the surface in smaller pieces.
But both methods are not really practical.

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.0.6
Thiloo, since I'm curious, and since that should be reasonably lightweight, could you please attach the (unfixed) igs (zipped or with an accepted extension) ?
Just out of curiosity really, I didn't run into that issue yet that's why I'm asking, thank you in advance.

Hi Thiloo,
Can you please post the scene here, or email it to me?

Got that problems on a scene of mine recently, too.Rafaello wrote:Thank you both, I melt the triangles in a mesh and everything Ok, but in another scene I have to triangulate a mesh to make it work, so I'm confuse and I think the problem is in Indigo, because with the 2.02, 2.03 and 2.04 versions I had no problem with the same scene.
Definitely not a problem of our geometry as 1.1.18 works just fine with it!
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.0.6
anyone get the command line options to work, especially with respect to image and igi file output paths?
I added the command line options into a shortcut file, and Indigo does not save anything
