Stinkie,

Bugger off.

It was a joke.

So I didn't get it - no reason to get rude, now is it?

Sorry Stinkie I'm just messing with you a little I mean no real harm.

This brings up a question though for Ben and Nick
Do we need to police our own behavior a little more carefully now that Indigo is a commercial project? If so I'll edit the profanity from my post. If not I'll keep trying my best not to go too far.

No hard feelings Stinkie?

I've heard about people liking to be abused but for me this is all getting a bit kinky :-^)

Hi folks, although I have been using Indigo for six months now the news that Indigo is going commercial prompted me to register and post here for the first time. ;-)

Firstly, thanks to Ono and the community who made the free product possible. I am enjoying learning 3D rendering - it was kind of a childhood ambition which I only recently got around to at the ripe old age of 34. I'm doing it purely as a hobby, but I love it, even though I'm still a raw noob.

Enough about me though. I would very much like to buy a lifetime license for Indigo. I am currently oscillating between purchasing a Mac Pro or a plain core i7 Wintel platform for rendering. I already own three macs (an imac and 2 x macbook pros) and use Indigo currently under winXp and Vista under Bootcamp but would greatly prefer the OSX environment to Windows. Hence my dilemma - I am reluctant to plump out 295EUR for the windows version, only to finally buy a Mac Pro and be forced to bootcamp Indigo.
It would be interesting to know if a lifetime license could be freely transferred between OS's. If not freely, then could a priced option to transfer an existing license to a new OS be considered, or a "onetime only" option to exercise a change ?

I'd be interested to hear your feedback on this question.

Many thanks for the free product and best of luck for the new initiative.

Hmmm... Not being very bright, I only just realised there may be another obstacle as currently the blendigo exporter supports windows only at the moment...!

a license is bound to the hardware, means you can use indigo on the same hardware under win, osx and linux.
