Hey all,

Some exciting news:

* Indigo is coming to OS X

I've been working with Nick to get Indigo compiling on os x (intel only), and it's coming along quite nicely.

* New GUI in the works.

There's a new gui coming for indigo to replace the current one. It's going to be available for windows, os x and linux.

The point for this post is that we're ready to unleash the new gui and the mac version of Indigo onto willing beta-testers!

By joining the beta group, you will get early access to new versions of Indigo, get to shape the future of Indigo with your feedback, and get an idea of what's coming up in future releases.

If you want to join up to the group, you have to download the attached pdf file, print it out, sign it with your name and scan and email it to ben@indigorenderer.com.

well anything you can do to stop ono injuring his prospects any more than he already has by design or neglect would be an improvement

Sounds very interesting Ben.... I'm in :)

But please tell me how are the future plans about releasing Test builds to the public? Do you want to generate a small but competent Beta user Group and release only final versions to the public?
Why not keeping the system as it is??!

I'm also interested how you are involved in Indigo, since Ono hates GUI work I bet its your work ;-)
But are you also going to work in some deeper areas of Indigo?

I think and hope that a bigger Indigo Team will result in faster and better development...

Unfortunately I've got very little time because of massive opcoming work, so I can't test it at the moment, which I'd really like to.

Keep on rockin!

There is like a wind of panic around me, mutating structures etc, funny to observe if you ask me ^^

Could the clause #5 be explained here in other terms please, I really don't get it's meaning.

Thank you !

@CTZn

It means that even if you leave the beta group, you can't tell anyone about what was discussed for 6 months after you leave.

Does that explain it?

@ZomB We'll keep doing development releases for people to test, we've just got a few new features that we're working on for 1.2 that we want to keep under wraps for now.
