I Speak polish.... ehm.... but never learned to write in this languageradiance wrote:yeah, but how many of our users speak polish ?

I don't like the idea of doing some language Ghettos in this Forum,
this only would reduce the size of the community to some clusters

I'm out of school for 6 years, and my english skills would be dead
(just like my french skills ^^) if I wouldn't read and write in english on the internet...
So think about how important it could be for your future life learning/polish a language

I understand that this is a ONE community, but also this is ONE world where we all live in, if you look at other forums for other programs or anything else, most of the time you will find another language section, just at least so other users who don't speak english can get a little support from other users who do and can guide them a little...besides, it's a bit more professional when you do something internationally.
Indigo should not be limited...internet has no borders, why no let it expand worldwide?
What I think is that maybe just the mostly important languages should be supported, english, spanish, italian, french, german and maybe portuguese (maybe also with time japanese and chinese?). At least one user can speak another of those languages and can jump from one language forum to another to explain to other users...just an idea....
The thing is that not all those languages should be created at the very moment, it all depends on how far the community will grow, and requests, but using the most important languages will be very helpful for non-english speaking people.
The thing also is that the english forums should be used as the main support area, when a non-english speaking person really gets stuck, he/she (she? where?) can post in his language section to get help, someone who does speak that language (besides of english) should reply to that specific person...then continue using english....it would be just to help others....

Ok, maybe just another idea...
instead of subdividing all this, just create sections in the main english forum for emergencies, then people who do speak that language will help the other users, just create a section in forums like "Other Languages Support" or "international Support" or anything like that. That way it will be limited for specific questions....
