Latest stable meaning 1.0.9? You might want to give 1.1.18 Indigo/Blendigo a try. I think most users have moved on to those which would explain the incompatibility issue with the DB material.

You can find Blendigo 1.1.18 in the Blender forum and Indigo 1.1.18 in the Announcement forum.
