Hey Sroka8888,

just as Ono explained the denoiser is only working with GPU rendering atm, and you are right: its because of the sampling method CPU rendering uses.

Saving EXR does work fine, but does take quite some time since on saving the denoiser restarts. If you also save Render Channels it does take some extra time since passes like direct and indirect lighting etc. is processed separately...
Doublecheck your log file while saving.

This is a pretty f*ckin dope realease to put it blunt.
Tho leave feedback here on the *optimeze for denoise* and *denoise button* find it a bit overcomplicated.

optimize denoise just add two render passes "albedo" and "normal" used by the denoise algorithm

Hi ! Thx for this new update ! I am gonna give it a try right away :) .... and I'm glad for you to using the scene i've created for the contest to show it as example of what indigo's denosing can achieve :).
My best regards.

I have some comments to this version:

- Denoising does not seem to work with aperture diffraction

- When rendering a video with denoising function, after only a few (10-20) frames, indigo starts to generate only black frames. After restart indigo it is ok, but only for next few frames.

- Desnoising for large resolutions takes a long time in this time gpu not working. I would recommend manually adjusting the denosing interval, or just before the rendering process ends

- When I render a video, Indigo builds scene for every frame. In many cases, only the camera could move around a static scene. It would save a lot of time.

- It would be appropriate to allow the adjustment of the denosing intensity.

Thanks for the good work!

I`m getting strange results using Indigo RT for sketchup (trial for now). Without denoising everything works great.

1. octane render ~ 1 hour render
2-3-4. indigo + denoise + gpu ~ 10-15 min amazing!
I note that in indigo the aperture + gpu + denoise does not work correctly
bloom in the octane, although artificial, but reacts in real time, I would like the same quick adjustment of the flare
