This release fixes a lot of little issues, including a lot of GUI annoyances.
There are also lots of little optimisations.
It's entirely possible we have broken something, if you find something, or get a crash, please post about it in this thread or send us an email!

Thanks!

* Small bidir optimisation.
* Texturing, bump mapping optimisations.
* Added an optimisation, which is to use greyscale versions of textures for bump, displacement params etc.. Thanks to Zom-b for suggestion.
* Adjusting the min and the max on the linear tonemapping slider, so that the slider is still useful if the scale value is very small or large.
* Disabling albedo channel and IOR spinbox when specular reflectivity is enabled.
* Disabling IOR spin box, spec reflectivity and albedo channels when nk data is enabled in Phong control.
* Setting GUI progress bar state to total fraction through render if there is a halt time or halt spp.
* Mentioning halt time or halt spp in the status text.
* Made space bar start/pause/resume rendering.
* Blend materials now return the child material id colours blended.
* Depth tracer and material id tracer now go through nulls.
* Only saving alpha channel with EXRs when an alpha channel is used in the rendering.
* Fixed returning from full-screen mode losing focus.
* Fixed insufficient range on Atmosphere medium position Vec3 control.
* Made exit portal a proper material type in the Material control UI.

The preview material scene does not allow volumetric shaders to render. Constant values work fine...

Hi Ono, don't know if it's only my problem, but I can't edit the camera parameters in the Indigo GUI anymore. I was trying to change the focus point while the render was going..

EDIT: also, I have some problems exporting a previously exported scatter test scene... Gonna test further..

The focus distance spinbox is disabled if autofocus is enabled, if that's what you mean. Just disable autofocus.

..the problem is that I can't actually see anything in the property editor window if I select metadata, render settings, or tonemapping. Mesh, material and object work fine instead.

That's because we haven't implemented the UI for those node types yet :)

Oh ok, so that is fine :) Thanks.

I attach a tiny scene which gives me some problems, maybe a mapping export problem..

Did Indigo pop up a dialog when you restart it saying to send a crash dump?

Does Mat ID tracer not work for non perspective modes? or am I doing something silly?

Path bidir is so good nowadays that it trashes all the other modes in almost every situation, interiors, you name it...
