Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Hi guys. Recently I have been focusing on Substrata. There is a little bit of Indigo development going on occasionally - some improvements to denoising, lightmap backing etc. As well as some custom improvements for some customers. I'm still considering the future of Indigo. one possibility is open ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Thank you for this new Beta release. I've been doing some test and i've found some issues with "Hide from camera" feature, it seems that the hidden objects blocks the light. This happens with CPU and GPU. I attach an example: I don't know about the material, but unless it is set null it will always...

Indeed it would be cool having the option to globalize/localize/relink scene relatet paths in standalone.

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
You made me curios. So if you can’t transfer that pigs the only way remains editing the filepaths externally. But as I said, it should definitely be an option. i just change file pathes in Notepad++'s batch mode from "c:\\" to ""\\mylaptoppc\", then it's possible to open the igq scene via local net...

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
no, i can't (look to the scene folder size): Clipboard01.png Sorry, my Russian is a bit non-existent. PIGS will compress the files. You tried to open indigo standalone, choose „Tools“, and then „Pack Indigo Scene/Queue/Material“? What filesize do you get in result? image.jpg it was a screenshot of ...

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
Now I've got your point! Indeed focus object distance is not being exported correctly for animations when linked in the camera options... in R20 here. Seems like values are not being read by Cindigo or, what I presume, written at render time properly by C4D. Because it does work in IPR and VIPR. Bu...

In the meantime you could pack a PIGQ or PIGS from the standalone, take it to another machine and open it there.

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
why does cindigo exporter works only with absolute file pathes? can you add "exporting with relative pathes" function in igs/igq? i have to change in manual mode via notepad++ "c:\\" pathes on laptop to "\\networknameofmaschine\\" if i want to open igq/igs on home tower pc.

Re: Projector Lighting
Trying to do a project for a client that needs projector lighting. Since it is not available in indigo yet, I'm trying octane... which among others, is terribly slow in complex scenes. Missing so much Indigo Engine.. Hey team, please consider adding this feature. I'm so allergic to other ren...

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
this is only the way to get right focus with cindigo exporter > standalone app (changing focus object with keyframes, with indigo compositing tag > invisible object):
