Re: sweet

Generally, I like him. Seems like a cool pet to have. Now, slap on some thin patches of hair onto him, and viola! :D

Re: strange reflections after "resume render"

I think that pixie said yesterday on the chat something like "i had multiple files in a queue, and now, whenever i want to resume one they got mixed", so the difference in the angles in the render can come from overlapping different files, i guess. :) Ono-Sendai tried resuming renders from queue, an...

Re: Reflection/ roughness

Ease of use and intuitiveness. I have to disagree with that, because the minute I started using Indigo this made perfect sense to me. Not to mention scientific accuracy you can get with it. IOR/Exponent system should be kept, or at least given as an option through a mentioned "advanced option" chec...

Re: ISL bug

Rendered with 3.8.13 - no bugs.
Rendered with 3.8.15 - bugs.

It seems like every polygon on the object is divided with a diagonal line, and on the one side sits the material with the bumps and on the other side, just material with no bumps at all.

Re: Atmospherics

"just noise with little modifications..." - you are a beast, man. For me, it is a rocket science! :D
That would be great, so we could start fiddling with the mat!

I would be the happiest man to see the creation of an atmosphere module for Indigo. And I think you "cloud" guys could get us there! :D

Re: Cindigo Wishlist

Even though I love C4D material editor (Layers, filters, etc. which all translate in a fantastic manner to Indigo), this nodal system would be awesome. Since every node could be interpreted as a function, this could be used to give ISL a much more artistic friendly interface, where you could, just by...

Re: Saving materials

Guys, thank you sooo much. I was looking at some old threads from 2012, and i got lost. I used a workaround, since i didn't see that "File-Save Material" in the properties of the material, by creating a new material for my database from standalone GUI with File-New Material (found in the upper left ...

Saving materials

Greeting Indigoers!

I am curious as to how to export a material from Indigo standalone, or from c4d. When I select Export Material from the Extra tab inside c4d, nothing happens, and in standalone GUI I can't find that option.

Thanks! :D

Re: Atmospherics

CTZn, your work on this subject was amazing! Can't wait to see more more! I was just thinking how awesome would it be to have a full control over the atmosphere of our scenes within Indigo, or from host apps, something like http://support.nextlimit.com/display/mx ... olumetrics. :D

Atmospherics

How are we standing in terms of atmospherics, like aerial perspective or clouds? I couldn't find any working volumetric material in the library and the posts regarding this subject are somewhat old.

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.10

Thank you very much, for your response mr. OnoSendai!

I see that Indigo works like a magic inside C4D, can't wait to see it working with 3Ds too! Actually, can't wait to see it working on everything and beign able to do anything! :D
