Ahem *cough cough*
This is what we're talking about...
Anybody from the dev team? No interest in pursuing this at all? Some feedback would be great...

Re: [REQ] light level / radiance
Big bump from the grave. Any feedback here? I was considering going to Thea, that has this already built-in (and seems to be a decent enough rendering software), but decided to wait and see what develops with Indigo. Doing lighting analysis (radiance / illumination) is a real PITA when you need to s...

Re: lape's works
Yep, that works, however please be sure to check the specification on the adhesion thereof, else they tend to come loose and fall off within a few years.

Re: lape's works
These look great, my only comment is that the brick construction looks funky in places, it could be built like that yes, with a bit of jumping through hoops. The generally accepted way is to build a brick lintel (a detail on its own again) or make use of RC beams (or even steel beams, again another ...

Re: Sketchup - UAV mapping problem
Have you experimented with Indigo Renderer 4.0.47 Beta Release yet? Does it behave in the same manner?

Re: [REQ] DPI settings inside Indigo +
I attach a ZIP archive containing a text file and an image with information that may be of use to you.
I honestly don't remember where I found these, probably here on the Indigo forums...

Re: SketchUp 2017
be careful when you install Indigo and using SketchUp, when prompted for the Skindigo installation path replace the Sketch2015 (or whatever is showing) part with Sketchup2017, or navigate to the location. This is something I've noticed in the past but have not logged as a bug. Also make sure you've ...

Re: SketchUp 2017
This is probably the wrong forum to ask such a question. The short answer is yes, but not so much innovation, more like refinement and fixing. Do yourself a favor though, first download and run the CheckUp app (new) to check compatibility and requirements with your system before buying / downloading...

Re: Issue with Skatter
thanks for the effort Ono, it seems SU2017 is having a number of problems with extensions / plugins, mainly licencing it seems, I've stalled my SU2017 uptake until it gets sorted

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.46 Beta Release
FYI: SketchUp 2017 (out today) Ruby API has been upgraded to Ruby 2.2, I have not tried skIndigo on SU2017 yet but have experienced compatibility problems with various extensions. I'm hoping (sk)Indigo won't have problems...

Animator for SketchUp, compatibility possible?
Hi all devs! You may or may not know that a new animation plugin (Animator, by Fredo6) for SketchUp is in public beta over at sketchUcation. I noticed that they have managed TheaRender and AmbientOcclusionEX integration / compatibility. Is this a possibility with Indigo or not? A broad outline of tw...
Re: MaterialX
I don't see proprietary software going through the trouble (read: expense) to rewrite code to satisfy a "standard" that may weaken their brand. I'm probably wrong, I often am, but this will maybe get implemented on opensource software level, like Blender or the like. Apart from that, dead in the wat...
Re: MaterialX
this will only be useful when a number of mainstream rendering applications and modeling applications implement it, or am I missing something?
