Re: [REQ] light level / radiance

Also take into account what reflectance the surface (-s) have, the size of the space. Keep in mind that the calculations use the centre of the light source as origin, thus using a surface of 1x1m may not be accurate. I assume you're trying to simulate using the point method? Try doing the simulation...

Re: [REQ] light level / radiance

Getting a colorized image representing illumination level is only part of the requirement of a photometric report / analysis. A scale against which this is measured (accurately relevant to certain lux levels, with some kind of lux colour chart; min / max / average luminance) and a report of sorts. H...

Re: Kscore's Render Area

great stuff!

however, to me it seems as though the floor is a little too rough, I would scale the texture down by at least 50% and / or change the displacement values so it is less pronounced

Re: Oscar's rendering thread

Great job. It bugs me a little that the wheels seem to rotating at a speed but the insignia in the middle of the wheel, on the hub, is still quite clear?

I hate subscriptions so I'm hanging with CS6
Check out Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, it isn't expensive, perpetual licence, works with PS files and plugins.

Thank me later...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.64 Stable Release Candidate

Hi Juju, The devs are having some time off at the moment. That, to me, seems like a feature that might not benefit that many in the Indigo user base. Maybe it can be included with all those other render passes that have been requested though? I hope they have a good rest and come back refreshed. Th...

Hi Juju,
THis would be cool to add, we just have a lot of stuff to do right now.
Maybe after 4.0 is done.
Imagine what my first thought was after I saw the version 4 stable release notice in my e-mail?!

Pretty please?

Re: IndigoBench - Indigo CPU and GPU benchmark

got maybe some stupid question here, but does Indigo 4.0.61 does work on your system with GPU? It works. Since you are on a laptop, how much RAM is allocated to the GPU? Or is it nowadays a own dedicated RAM pool for the GPU...? It's an OriginPC EON17-X laptop with a desktop grade CPU & GPU. CPU: I...

Re: IndigoBench - Indigo CPU and GPU benchmark

Win10 is from my tests & experience counter-productive (constant updates, notifications... disrupting my workflow, inner peace... ;). This is a new machine, so not much choice in the matter. Have looked around & found some more info on driver regression (if interested): - Best NVIDIA GeForce Driver...

thanks for notice
Are you on Win 10? If so, any trouble using it as it doesn't say that 378.66 is Win 10 certified.
