Texturing artifacts work-around
Hi u3dreal, i need your help. I remember a post in the old forum where u showed a indigo rendered image with two checker-boarded sphere, the first with a wrong texturing (like the one below) the second with a perfect one. If i'm wrong it dealt with a texturing issue related to implicit texturing htt...

Arneoog...well i think "animation"-oriented stuff use to refer to Z as the vector forwarding out of the screen... this is an old-reminescence of first 3d softs. Instead alot of CAD tools (as Rhino, CATIA, and AutoCAD too, prolly MAX too) use the Z axis as the axis pointing to the sky... It's only a ...

Embedded Mesh - SCENE FORMAT
Although Rhino exported meshes aregreat, i dunno why XSI's aren't...please can anybody give me the correct specs to write embedded meshes into .xml scenes? What's the normal vector should refer to? Vertex-based or triangle-based? What's the tri-index should refer to? Vertex-based or normal-based? Co...

I'm glad to hear you scaron.... and happy to see someone interested in the project. Actually my development isn't fast at all due to other things i'm going to handle, but I hope, in the very next days, to write down some details on my implementation to share with you and bullseye. Regards, Riccardo.

Hi Bullseye, at the moment i'm trying to solve a little problem to correctly handle indigo's material inside XSI. For now i've created a CustomPP to manage indigo's materials linked to polymesh objects, but i'm not satisfied at all. What i do really like to achieve is a CustomPP added to the materia...

Changing "Random number seed"
Hi folks, lookin around i've noticed that the "Random number seed" in the first row of the log it never changes running different rendering on different CPU. Why? Shouldn't change each time i invoke indigo? Moreover i suppose that the random seed affects the final images in the following way. To be ...
