Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.14 Beta

The license Key should work across all v4 builds, had absolutely no issue with it updating...
You use local license or online one Sau?

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.8 Beta

i alway prefer major updates of course. but if minor update was finished, why do not publish it immidiately? people like software with fast updates, not abandoned by developers. Indigo already has a quite fast update cycle, well, maybe its been a little faster in the past :P Nowadays there is more ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.8 Beta

This one is just a quick fix of a feature that has been new to 4.4.7 but was broken on GPU.
The updates maybe need a little longer nowadays, but then they are packed with stuff that usually is also better tested then in the past ;)

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.1 Beta / Technology Preview

is it looks as real scene? Nope, 1001 things to point my finger on that suck, alone the texture on the curtain is something to get beaten with a stick for... very hard! is it possible to work with fbx? Every regular mesh that you import in your 3D app should be exportable or what do you refer to?! ...

Re: Fabrics with effects in Cinema 4D

Regarding the fabric check out this sneak peak: https://www.instagram.com/p/B-XbMXMHVIE/ The "Multiplier (B)" value is the one to tweak for saturation, combined with tweaking the gamma of the texture you can do a lot of stuff. Also possible If you use a C4D shader to tweak your texture Indigo will b...

Re: indigo denoiser seems unusable in gpu mode with low class CPUs like Pentium and Celerons (include gen6 / gen7)

Hey wob, thanks for the feedback! A CPU with support for at least SSE4.1 is required to run Intel Open Image Denoise. Is your CPU in this category? Denoising is very CPU heavy and I highly recommend enabling it only on the end of your render or meanhile for testing. Best to pause rendering while you...

The shader below does't work anymore (it worked with an older Indigo version)
Can you tell the Indigo version where this shader worked?

I added this issue to the bugtracker, so thank you for reporting!

Re: Beauty Center

Hey Lal-O, there is no magic checkbox inside Indigo atm to enable Photon mapping! So you havn't missed anything yet :) Afaik its a feature still in development that hasn't been released yet. For Pool Caustics you will not be able to get anything out of GPU rendering and pure PathTracing! You need to...

Re: Beauty Center

Yes, do denoising! Also use at least SS2 and also do test SS3 if your system can take the load. Denoising takes the internal resolution for beauty and normal + albedo map, and therefore is capable of preserving more details by this. But beware that higher SS values only bring better results if you a...

Re: Rendering time

Hey Alcaide,

please send over some screenshot of your renderlog + scene info of Indigo, usually this helps to understand what you are dealing with.
If you do GPU rendering, then be sure to have your GPU drivers up to date!

Re: Pavoda Rendering Thread

Hey Paraket, interesting info about the 4.065 memory behavior! I'll have to investigate into this at some point, but have to admit that for me the latest Indigo versions have no stability issue at all, and I'm maxing out the 11GB RAM of my 1080Ti to over 10GB of usage a lot with complex scenes! Be s...

Re: Pavoda Rendering Thread

Hey Pavoda, thanks for taking the time and doing a video! In you video you never change the SS, it stays at 2. It seems like having denoising active from the start of the render is causing the issue, since activating it later seems to be no problem. Here are some ideas: 1) does Indigo generate a cra...

Re: Pavoda Rendering Thread

If the scene is large, each frame can be exported for several minutes. Scene is static, only the camera is different. In this case I could imagine that you bake textures from c4d shaders, this can add up if you use it a lot. The exporter does bake a texture per frame of animation, even while its st...
