Re: problem
if you haven't yet, uninstall automatic windows drivers > install NVidia ones (if latest don't work, try with previous versions)

Re: a few questions about opencl
Yes, it can be done via OCL. IMO, denoising is worthless and expensive hack considering spent resources VS return value . Especially, when a feature is locked to specific platform. Also, an argument "beneficial for previews" doesn't hold any substance - previews are previews & PT renders can simply ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.20 Beta Release
Are you using Edge modifier to define edge shading? IIRC, Blendigo doesn't read Normals setting from Blender.aleksandera wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 4:38 amAlembic object renders flat shadet in Cycles while in indigo it renders smooth.
Why is that so?
Can you post example file to check?

Re: Built-in Denoiser
If you have NVidia's GPU, here's a standalone build for windows of NVidia AI Denoiser from Declan Russel . NOTE: Works only on unidirectional PT renders. Or in other words, it doesn't do shit to BiDir renders. Along with 'Beauty' (Image /-i) pass, you can also feed it with Albedo (-a) & Norma...

Re: The GPU does not work in large scenes
If out-of-core rendering is possible with OpenCL then we can add it. OpenCL 2.0 adds 'shared virtual memory', which maybe does the trick. Below is a link to posts about Cycles ability to offload textures (VRAM > sys RAM). It's also mentioned that latest AMD drivers give such ability without the nee...

Re: The GPU does not work in large scenes
IIRC, newer AMD cards have the ability to use CPU RAM (offloading textures). Saw it work with Cycles.

Re: Blendigo 4.0.10
Hi,
Look here: New code repository for Blendigo on GitHub
4.0.13 is the latest (just did a quick test with 2.79a on Win7 and it seems fine).
edit:
WoooW
BiDir CPU is extreme- -ly fast.
Amazing work!

About post on RS forums It's basically still just an intro, started last week, so nothing definitive yet. Goes about questioning the stability of drivers & consuming much more vRAM, leading to the next article (linked above.) As written, OCL capabilities are gone with drivers 388.xx on my side. Am a...
