Re: Alami Rendering Thread

i found the cause of these farflies...it's due to a very bright and small light source...usually the sun or a bright spot in the HDR sky

Re: Pavoda Rendering Thread

Hi, first- you need indigo full no RT version, second - make plane with luminance material into the window, third - make it invisible to camera. It is composition tag...Not sure how to make in Sketchup. Try it. Let me know if you if you did it.

Re: Alami Rendering Thread

thanks, it is interesting procedure...why you active aperture diffraction and denoise after finish render?

Re: Alami Rendering Thread

Nice...How you achieve it? GPu, cpu, denoising, time...? BTW, Little bit too could the last one for me (white balance)

Re: What GPU graphics card should I buy?

Hi, it depends what scenes you render. Are you sometimes limited by GPU ram? Go to the 12Gb. If you prefer as speed as possible go to RTX 3070TI with 8Gb. For me is GPU ram more interesting. Better bit slower then nothing...I have 2080ti 11Gb and it is not enought for some scenes. 24Gb will be much ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release

it is shame this silent of devs. I am a customer of indigo and have no idea about future of this soft. You should say what happend. My work flow is prepared to indigo, many models and sceneses are in indigo and now I will make to have big changes- convert to another renderer. Im still waiting, But I...

Re: Stains in denoised rendering

simple test: - GPU rendering is on for all renders - Clamp contribution is checked, Max con=1...for all renders. - optimise for denoising is off - no farflies, no refraction. Good - optimise for denoising is on - farflies will appier (clamp contribution no effect yet) - denoiser is on - blurry spots...

Re: How to activate Brute force with GPU?

Nice!
OpenCl did not work with Exit portals yet, it is work only with CPU. OpenCl is only GPU rendering, not paraller with CPU. But supersempling and denoising are done by CPU

Re: GPU render mode

100 - 10.000 :) It is depends on many factors. amount of day light, other lights, shape and sice of room, accesories, resolution of picture, preview or final top quality render, using denoiser... But for start you can try around 2000 samples per pix

Re: GPU render mode

Until it is fine... You can make small testing region (Pick Region) You will see very quickly how much samples you need to good result.

Re: How to activate Brute force with GPU?

Hi, switch on Enable OpenCL rendering. Here is path tracing in indigo, it is like brute force. (Unbias)
