Re: Alami Rendering Thread
Maybe saturation is not so strong, maybe the tone and the homogenic look... But, a little bit less saturation is convenient for indigo mostly. For other engines the color is less powerfull than for indigo. you can also try to have some render channel (AVOs), that way you can tone it down/up afterwa...

Re: What GPU graphics card should I buy?
What do you mean by "use denoise for the rest" Path tracing is used on GPU, but it's not well suited for all the cases, for those who isn't you can always use the built in denoiser from indigo. Is it possible to run rendering so that the CPU + GPU work at the same time? Maybe it's a solution for me...

Re: What GPU graphics card should I buy?
Where is CUDA used? Pretty much every 3D gfx software supports it, video editors... AMD also has its solutions, but since CUDA is around longer it has a bit more of support. Thankfully Indigo support both systems through Open CL. Which card do you think would be better for me? It all depends on you...

Re: What GPU graphics card should I buy?
nowadays you can have access to large objects through Quixel mega scans for example, my suggestion is that you go for a bit more of ram then speed 4070 12Gb vs 3080 10Gb you would get a faster and with more memory. You can also go AMD, just check the benchmark for their speed, their boards are cheap...

Re: What GPU graphics card should I buy?
the ram video is a plus, if you get 10% slower card your render still plays although a bit slower, yet if you get to the limit of ram it won't until you further optimize the scene

Indeed, that's what I meant. Path tracing here is of no use. If only bidir was available for gpu
